I am, proudly, a Bay Area native. It feels like I’m one of few these days! I was born in San Francisco, and spent my childhood in Daly City. My love of real estate began when I was 12 years old and we moved farther down the Peninsula. I was fortunate that my parents brought me along as we went from home to home searching for just the right one.
I grew up with the perception that the Peninsula was one big city. Up and down the empty I-280, I learned to drive… back when the road was wide, and people looked at you strangely when you said you were taking 280 anywhere!
I spent two years at San Francisco State University, and I finished my bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts with an Emphasis in Mathematics at California State University, Hayward. I attended San Jose State University for my Teaching Credential in Mathematics, and went on to receive my Masters Degree in Educational Administration. In 1997, I landed at Egan Junior High, Los Altos, where I found myself teaching mathematics for 7 years, in the highest-ranking school district in the state of California.
As much as I loved the students with whom I shared my days, I found myself surfing the MLS at lunch and going to Open Houses for fun! So, I decided to take the plunge into a career in real estate. While I still direct the chorus at Egan Jr. High, there’s no better time to pursue one’s dreams than the present!
So, here I am, at your service! I’m ready to take on any home search, backed with not only a full knowledge base of Bay Area amenities, but also an intimate perspective of the area’s school districts. Lets work together to make your real estate dreams come true!
